Whole Foods Market’s Do Something Reel Film Festival, which will travel to 70 cities across the country in celebration of Earth Month, kicks off its local screening series tonight at Alamo Drafthouse Village.

The six festival films will focus on food and environmental issues with a “vision of making a world of difference,” according to the organizers. A portion of ticket proceeds will be directed to a film production and development grant to assist filmmakers who are interested in telling stories about the environment and the effect consumer choices have on it.

“Bag It,” which screens at 7 p.m. Monday night, is the first in the festival that runs through April 12.
