Sneak peek of the Violet Crown menu

The Violet Crown cinema officially opens in downtown Friday, April 29 with screenings of "Certified Copy," "In a Better World" and "Circo" (look for reviews of those films here later in the week).

The theater, located on the second floor of the AMLI on 2nd apartment building, will feature four 50-seat auditoriums with digital projection along with a full bar and a cocktail lounge with outdoor patio. Tickets will cost $9 for matinees, $11 for weeknights and $13 for weekends, with four hours of free parking in the AMLI garage.
